Organizing Your Coupons

So I just wanted to touch on this topic of organizing your coupons. The most effective way to organize and the way you'll get the most bang for your buck is to cut them out and organize them into categories into a 3 ring binder preferable one that zips closed in case you drop it then each coupon put into the clear plastic holders (the ones that hold the baseball cards are the best size). So for example I have baby, canned, dairy, paper goods, personal hygiene, misc, snacks, and so forth. Put what you use and what you'll be cutting out (like you might have a dog so you could have a pets category). Then each Sunday when you get your ads cut and sort.

There are other ways of doing it cause that is very time consuming. You could simply get a binder and sort each booklet of coupons by date cause most web pages that you can find good deals on will list where the coupon came from. Like SS, PG, RP,and GM (stands for Smart Source, Procter and Gamble, Red Plum, and General Meals). Then you just pull out the coupons you want and cut the ones you need for that trip to the store.

These are just a few ideas and the most effective. I hope this kind of helps. If you have any questions please ask and I'll try to explain a little better. Happy cutting!
